There are four steps in our educational program.
- 15 students (age 8-9 years) will be admitted to class-2. This is our policy to take at least half of our students who are orphans or extremely poor and who cannot afford to pay our fees and other educational expenses. Hence the school welcomes applications for boys whose parents/guardians cannot afford the fees in full or in part. The trustees of Zaawiya are committed to broadening access to the school by offering to eligible parents/guardians means-tested financial support with the payment of school fees and any additional educational expenses as per our policy.
(Sahl ibn Sa’d reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon Him, said, “the man who cares for an orphan and myself will be together in Paradise like this,” and he held his two fingers together to illustrate. Source: Sahih Bukhari 5659)
- Students will study for and sit the Matriculation examination (with science subjects), followed by two years for Intermediate (F.Sc.).
- Students will study and complete BS(Hons) in four years with double majors in Islamic Sciences and one from Social Sciences or Natural Sciences.
- Interested and qualifying students will be given admission to MS and PhD in “Islamic Thought and Civilization”. After this stage, they would become scholars of Islam with confidence in their personalities and light in their hearts. They would be well-versed in Islamic sciences of Tafseer, Hadith, Fiqh, Kalam along with contemporary Sciences and Humanities. They shall be the leaders of Muslim Ummah, insha’Allah.
